Terry Bettner, Director of Bands

In his 15th year at RCS, 19th year teaching, Mr. Bettner teaches the beginning band program, Test Intermediate School Band, Steel Drum Ensemble, and the Richmond High School Band program. He also serves as Department Chairperson for the Creative Arts at Richmond High School. Mr. Bettner holds a Bachelors degree in Music Education from Ball State University and a Masters degree from Earlham College. Mr. Bettner's primary instrument is percussion

Nathan Rigsby, Associate Director of Bands

In his 5th year at RCS, Mr. Rigsby teaches the beginning band program, Dennis Middle School Band, the RHS band program, percussion ensemble, and music appreciation. Mr. Rigsby is a graduate of Miami University, Oxford. His main instrument is the Eupohnium and Tuba.
Erin Gerig, Director of Orchestras

In her first year of teaching at RCS, Miss Gerig teaches orchestra students from the 6th grade to 12th grade. Miss Gerig is a graduate of Butler University where she majored in instrumental and general music education. Miss Gerig's main instrument is the cello, but she also plays the double bass, mainly in jazz.
