ChooseMyPlate
is replacing the Food Pyramid!!

The new design was created to help everyone understand that all of the foods shown are important for a healthy meal. Vegetables and whole grains have larger portions (but not too large), and fruits and proteins have a smaller portion on the plate. The dairy portion is connected to the plate to show the importance of adding 8 oz. of low fat or skim milk to each meal.
