Draft Version of June 2012 Strategic Technology Plan

The RCS Strategic Technology Plan (pdf) is a new plan is currently in Draft format. It was presented as an overview at the June 13, 2012 School Board Meeting. No action was taken at that meeeting as it was only presented as a report. We are currently asking for faculty and staff input that will be discussed at upcoming Technology Committee Meetings to get a final draft ready for Board approval.


Richmond Community Schools 2010-2013 Technology Plan

The RCS_District_Technology_Plan_2010-2013.pdf for Richmond Community Schools is used to assist in aligning the district technology needs with the individual schools' school improvement plans. The Technology Plans are also used to get approval for Universal Service Fund (USF) E-Rate discounted services and equipment.








National Education Technology Plan

Released in December 2010 by the U.S. Federal Government, the National Education Technology Plan, Transforming American Education: Learning Powered by Technology, represents a five-year strategy for improving education using technology as key piece of a student's learning experience.
