The Richmond Community Schools Transportation facility is located at 3175 North Salisbury Road.

The Richmond Community School Corporation is located entirely in Wayne County, Indiana and encompasses approximately 78 square miles. It includes the townships of Wayne and Boston, as well as the incorporated towns of Spring Grove and Boston.

The following are some key metrics about  the RCS transporation department:

• Owns and operates 60 schools buses
• Manages 77 bus routes
• Employs 49 bus drivers, several bus aides and 3 mechanics
• Transports approximately 2,700 RCS students each school day
• Buses travel approximately 1,929 miles each day school is in session
