Early College 6th graders show off their chinese lanterns. Great job!

Originally created by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (2002), Early Colleges prepare students who have high potential for success at college but who also face traditional obstacles to attending college, such as First Generation Students.

Richmond High School Early College, a “school within a school,” partners with Richmond High School and Ivy Tech Community College to create a college-going culture that is critical to developing academic and social leaders.

Students take all of the Core 40 classes at Richmond High School as well as college credit classes at Ivy Tech, working toward significant completion of an associates degree before they finish high school.
