G Suite for Education Migration


Thank you for your patience last week as we migrated the RCS e-mail to the new RCS G Suite for Education environment.

Your account is ready to be used. To access Gmail and other G Suite for Education tools,  use the following steps:

  1. Open a Web browser (we recommend Google Chrome) and visit
  2. Enter your current RCS e-mail address in the Sign In box and click Next.
  3. At the "Choose an Account" screen, click G Suite Account: An account owned by
  4. Enter your RCS password. NOTE: All Gmail passwords must be 8 characters long. If your RCS password is a 6 character password, we’ve added two additional characters to your password. These characters are ** so just add those to the end of your password. For example, if your current RCS password is something like J4re9W, enter this instead: J4re9W**
  5. Click Next to access your Gmail account.

With this migration, RCS will benefit from the Google Suite of applications, including:

  • Google Gmail accounts
  • Google Chrome Web Browser
  • Google Drive
  • Google Docs
  • Google Forms
  • Google Slides
  • Google Sheets
  • Google Calendar
  • Google Apps

Google Training Opportunities

If you have not taken advantage of the online PD Sessions that were developed by our eLearning Team, you will want to as soon as the switch is made.

  • Level 1 training on Gmail and Calendar can be accessed here. Please complete the survey at the end of the session.
  • Level 2 training on G-Suite includes information about Google Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheet and Forms. To access the Level 2 Training, click here. Please complete the survey at the end of the training.
