India Cruise-Griffin explains her art work:

"The Passion Keeper” is a picture about life as a woman, not only African American women, but all women alike. How we handle problems of the everyday and sometimes how the everyday can easily handle us. The” Passion Keeper” illustrates the hope that one has for mankind who surrounds her (the fish) and by giving part of herself (the keys) and keeping the passion of living, ongoing and alive.

The Exhibition runs from January 21st through July 15th at the Indiana State Museum.
