RESCHEDULED
RHS Career Center Open House scheduled for Friday,
February 5, 2010 has been rescheduled for Friday, February 19, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
All community members are invited to an Open House at the Richmond Area
Career Center on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
After a completed tour, all attendees will receive a free ticket to the
Richmond High School boy’s basketball game. The
first 500 community members to complete the tour will receive free popcorn
and drink.
Entrance will be off of SW 2nd and SW E streets and will enter door #37
at the Richmond Area Career Center.

**Due to weather considerations for Tuesday,
February 9th, the Purdue Glee Club / RHS Choral Concert has been moved to
Monday, February 22, 2010 at 7:00pm. Tickets already purchased will be
honored at the February 22nd concert. Tickets are still available for the
February 22nd concert at the Civic Hall Box Office.**
Richmond High School Choral Concert with the
Purdue Varsity Glee Club - We would like to invite you to a
special evening of vocal music at Civic Hall Performing Arts Center. The
Richmond High School Choral Department will be hosting and performing
with… The Purdue Varsity Glee Club on Monday, February 22, 2010 at
7:00pm. The Richmond High School Symphonic and Chamber Choirs will be
performing during the first section of the concert and then the 62 member
male chorus from Purdue University will present a wonderful evening of
vocal music. Completing the evening, the Richmond High School choirs and
The Purdue Varsity Glee Club will sing a combined number for the grand
finale!
Don’t miss this wonderful evening of vocal music with our RHS students
and the Purdue Varsity Glee Club. The non-reserved tickets (adults $10 /
students $5) are available at the Civic Hall box office (973-3350), from
RHS choral students, or available the evening of the concert.
This will be an evening of choral music you will not want to miss! For

The Link will be sponsoring a spring Driver
Education class at Richmond High School. Information and
registration forms are available in the Richmond High School main office.
Classes will start Monday, February 22nd and finish Thursday, March 18th
(No class Wednesday, March 17th). Classes will meet Monday thru Thursday
from 4-6 pm. Most of the driving will be done during Richmond High
School’s spring break. Students must be at least 15 years old to sign up
for this Driver Education class.

Dress Code Information:
Perfect Attendance 2009-10 School Year - Students who have
perfect attendance for the school year will earn a free trip to King's
Island on Friday, May 14, 2010. In order to qualify for the King's Island
perfect attendance trip, students must be present in each one of their
classes with the exception of a funeral or field trip.

Tutoring Assistance is available
before and after school by asking the individual teacher for help with
assignments and/or review. The Homework Hotline offers free tutoring with
science and math. Call toll free 1-877-275-7673 Sunday through Thursday,
7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. The Homework Hotline also has a website at
www.askrose.org. CPM Math offers help
at www.cpm.org. Click on the link "hotmath"
and select the CPM book that is being used in class. |
