Parents or Guardians,

We wanted to let you know of a service called Café Prepay in which you may put money on your student’s lunch account online.  I know many of you have taken advantage of this opportunity to pay online already, but many may not know that it is available.  You may use a credit or debit card to pay from the convenience of your home, work or however you access the internet.  There is a $ 2.00 per transaction convenience service fee that is collected by Heartland Payment Systems for processing.  Richmond Community Schools does not receive any part of the $ 2.00 processing fee; it all goes to Heartland Payment Systems.  Café Prepay also provides account information on your student so you may go in and check their account balances and see exactly when money is taken off from their account.  It is a great program and might be something that will make your life easier.  Check it out!

To access Café Prepay please follow these simple instructions:

Go to the Richmond Community Schools Website at www.werrichmond.com

Click on Administration tab at the top of the web page

Click on Departments tab under the Administration tab at the top of the web page

Click on Food Services on the side of the web page

In the middle of the Food Services page you will find a link that says Café Prepay click on that.

This will bring you to the Café Prepay web page and will give you step by step instructions on how to set up your account.

Please contact Café Prepay with any additional questions about this program at 1-866-642-9990 Monday-Friday 7:00 A.M. -4:00 P.M.

Charles Vision

Our Charles Elementary School community will provide a safe learning environment for all students.  Through the efforts of parents, teachers, and support staff, all students shall master skills that will benefit not only their continued education, but also their positive contributions to society both now and in the future.

Charger Song

Always start your day

In the right way

Charge it up, think strong, go beyond!

When you feel you’re losing steam

And you think you just might scream,

Charge it up, think strong, go beyond!

Be the one to lead-shine bright!

Thoughts and actions choose the right-

Charles Chargers,

Charles Chargers!

Charger Slogan

Charge it up:  Be prepared, alert, and ready to learn.

Think strong:  Our brains need challenge to grow stronger.  Building muscles means moving enough weight to require work: building brain muscles requires think-work, too.

Go beyond:  Never be satisfied with what you can do today.  Celebrate and move on to the next challenge.

Charles's five expectations guide our procedures and school rules.

Our students are STARS!

Service

Teamwork

Achievement

Respect

Safety
