Highland Heights Elementary

Highland Heights is committed to building a community of active learners.  Teachers adjust to the individual needs and learning styles of children, meeting them where they are on their learning path and taking each one as far as he or she can go each and every day.  An emphasis on real life connections to the curriculum and higher-level thinking skills enriches students' learning experience.  Literacy is integrated across the curriculum in literature rich classrooms. At Highland, we work to develop students who are both motivated and excited about learning while being accountable and responsible for their progress.
