A Note from Mrs. Stevenson

Dear Viper Families:

November is here and with that comes much cooler weather. Please send your child with a jacket or coat. We will enjoy outdoor recess as long as we can and that will require bundling up a bit more this month. If you need assistance with a coat, please call the office and ask for our CIS coordinator.

We will be working toward our next positive behavior for November. Each month we set behavior goals as a building and individually. If we reach that goal, we celebrate in a fun way. So far we have earned a snow cone party and a pumpkin painting party! For the month of November we are aiming for a trail mix and movie party. Ask your child about his/her personal goal.

During this month, we will also refocus on our Leader in Me initiative. Your child will be working on Habit 1-Be proactive. To them it means, "I am in charge of me." They will be focusing on taking responsibility for their own actions and working on personal goals both socially and academically. Look for more Leader in Me information below.

As always, thank you for sharing your child with us and entrusting us to keep them safe and to help them grow. Be safe and stay healthy!
