  • Thursday, October 27; Mobile Dentist. Forms available in the CIS Office at school.
  • Thursday, October 27; Dennis Fall Choir Concert with Grades 6-8, 6:30-7:30 pm in the Dennis Auditorium.
  • Friday, October 28; 5th/6th Grade Halloween Costume Dance, 4:45-6:30. Students without any referrals in October are eligible to attend. Tickets MUST be purchased before the dance and will be on sale before school each morning this week in the small gym for $3 each. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door that evening.
  • Monday, October 31-Friday, November 4; Scholastic Book Fair, 8:30-3:30 pm. Start saving your money and support our school library with your purchases!

Volunteer Background Checks are required for any adult wanting to help at school functions, including chaperoning field trips, mentoring, and other events. Please complete this form and turn it into the office as it takes several weeks for processing. (Español)


Building Opens: 7:45 am
Breakfast Served: 7:45 am - 8:15 am
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:15 am - 3:30 pm
Tuesday (Early Release): 8:15 am - 2:49 pm
2-Hour Delay: 10:15 am - 3:30 pm
If Richmond Community Schools has a two-hour delay on a Tuesday, students will be dismissed at the regular time (3:30 pm).
Breakfast and Lunch are served free of charge to all Dennis students thanks to a federal grant.

     Arrival and Dismissal     
For the safety of our students, please drop off and pick up on the school side of the street so they do not have to cross traffic.
Students enter the south end of the building at the cafeteria entrance (Door #4) from 7:45 - 8:15 am. After 8:15, please enter the front of the building (Door #1).
Car riders & walkers are dismissed at 3:30 pm (2:49 Tuesday) through Door #1.
