RHS qualified 23 students to compete at the State Leadership Conference in Indianapolis in March. The RHS students that participated did an outstanding job and represented Richmond Community Schools very professionally.

Richmond High School will be hosting a FAFSA day in room C213 on Thursday, March 5 from 10 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.  During this time, any high school senior or parent, current college student, or adult considering college can visit a high school computer lab to receive free hands-on assistance in filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or ask questions about college admissions, financial aid, etc.


Parent/Teacher Conferences 

Parent/teacher conferences will be held on Tuesday, March 17 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Please call 765-973-3424 to schedule conference times for your child.  


Senior Information

February 25 & March 5 - FAFSA Days - 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. - get help completing                                                            the FAFSA  form - enter door 37 (Career Center)

February 27 - Deadline to submit applications for local scholarships (Honors and Awards)

March 10 - FAFSA deadline - must be completed in order to be eligible for scholarships and                            financial aid for college

Week of March 16th - Interviews for seniors that submitted applications (by February 27th) for                                      local scholarships

April 29 - Delivery day for caps, gowns, announcements, etc.

May 8 - Academic Excellence Program - 7:00 p.m.

May 14 - Graduation practice - 8:15 a.m. - pck up tickets for limited main floor seating on                            graduation day

May 15 - Honors and Awards Assembly - Civic Hall - 10:00 a.m.

May 19 - Career Education Awards - Civic Hall - 9:30 a.m.

June 7 - Graduation Day - Tiernan Center - 2:30 p.m. - Seniors report to cafeteria at 1:15 p.m.


Get There Day! (Early College)

Early College juniors and seniors (plus one family member each) are invited to join us on Friday, February 27 from 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the RHS Library.  Early College staff will be there to help you with:

  • SAT/ACT Registration
  • College Applications
  • Scholarships
  • 21st Century Scholar Requirements, etc.

Snacks will be provided.  Reserve your spot by calling Mr. Tre Ronne at 973-3424 or e-mail rronne@rcs.k12.in.us.


21st Century Scholars - 2017 Grads and Beyond

9th and 10th grade 21st Century Scholars MUST complete the Scholar Track Program each year of high school to earn their scholarship.  This started with the class of 2017 graduates.

Parents and students may view the video by going to 21stcenturyscholars.in.gov and selecting Scholar Track Orientation Video.
