Dual Credit

Students in several of the RACC Career Education Programs have the opportunity to earn college credit from Ivy Tech Community College Richmond while they are still in high school. Credit earned through dual credit may not transfer to other higher education institutions.

In courses taught by RHS faculty, students must meet the Ivy Tech course prerequisites to receive Ivy Tech Community College Richmond credit.

In courses taught by Ivy Tech Community College faculty, students enroll in the respective Ivy Tech courses(s) and receive an Ivy Tech grade at the completion of the academic term. Students must meet the Ivy Tech course prerequisites. Students must register for dual credit per the College’s dual credit enrollment process.

The Ivy Tech courses are subject to change depending on the College's course inventory at the time when dual credit is earned. Additional requirements may apply for earning dual credit. Conditions and availability of dual credit and the information presented here is subject to correction and change.
